We got married at Wiegand Lake Park this past October and had the best experience imaginable (minus the rain...thanks Ohio)! Carrie and Ken were the best to work with and treated us like family. Their attention to detail and focus on tailoring the experience to our preferences was fantastic. Even when we decided to be crazy and have the ceremony out in the rain, they were still accommodating and did everything they could to make sure we had the best day. They were seriously amazing and I would recommend this venue for any type of event on the beautiful grounds. Thanks again for everything!

Place was amazing! We just had our company picnic here. Plenty of space and lots of things to do from corn hole, basketball, volleyball baseball to swimming and paddleboats! Food was delicious! We had ribs, burgers, hot dogs, Italian sausage, all the sides and deserts. They have ice cream and slushie shop with raffle gifts for kids. Staff was very attentive, polite and approachable!

Wiegand Lake Park is one of the best places to have your event! They hosted our daughter's wedding reception, and it turned out to be more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. The food was excellent, and the service was exceptional. Their personal interest in making sure that every need was not only met, but exceeded, took the experience over the top; we could not help but leave feeling like family. We had our wedding here October of 2022 and had been planning it with Carrie and Ken (the owners) for close to a year and I truly cannot say enough amazing things about them as people and about their venue and what they do for weddings! Carrie and Ken COMPLETELY took care of everything day of so we could just relax and enjoy! They were incredible!! Not the mention the BEAUTIFUL property!! The lake, the staff, the park, the food, everything about our wedding was better than we could have EVER imagined and that’s mostly thanks to Ken and Carrie for living up to their name and “making memories” for my wife and me and my family that we’ll be talking about for YEARS to come! Can’t recommend enough!!!

Levin Furniture – Cleveland, OH & Smithton, PA                                                          

We have been hosting the annual Levin furniture Company picnic for 16 years! The amount of activities the park offers, like paddle boating, corn hole, volleyball and the playgrounds keep our guests busy and happy all day! And if the activities they offer aren’t enough, the staff is very accommodating to other vendors or crafts/games you bring on your own. This private park is always clean and has ample shade keeping everyone comfortable during the hot summer days. Their staff is always friendly and helpful, from the day we start the booking process on. I would highly recommend Wiegand’s Lake Park to anyone looking to host an outdoor event in the Cleveland area.

We have made Wiegand’s Lake Park our home for our annual company picnic for at least the last 7 years. Each year we pick an activity that we challenge groups for months prior to and we have an annual trophy that we give out. For example, we’ve done…Basketball, Baseball, Volley Ball, Tug of War, Corn hole, Pie eating …just to mention a few. We get everyone involved, especially all the children… you see Wiegand’s Lake Park has a Fun Store that kids can buy their own prizes with the tickets they earn by participating. We also like the freedom of being able to bring in a character artist and face painter. The food is always fresh throughout the day and is handled by staff only, serving you as you go up to the booth. Food isn’t sitting out in the hot sun or handled by people as you would normally see at a buffet. The potato salad is out of this world and it’s the best chicken you’ll ever have at a picnic! Oh, and for you ice cream lovers… you can get as much as you want just step up to the store and ask!!! Can’t wait for our picnic this summer!

It is with great pleasure that I comment on the wonderful time everyone enjoyed at our picnic this year. Your location is conveniently located within 20-30 minutes of all of our employees. Everyone loves the park because we’re not competing with any other party – it’s all ours for the day! We enjoy the all-day “grazing” at the food stand, and after every picnic, all our employees rave about the food! I’ll never forget the time we had our picnic at Wiegand’s and the rain started and seemed like the day would be miserable. But, wait a second, you and your staff actually turned a frown upside down and said, “Lets move everything inside” and presto, we had the lower level dance hall for food and the upper level for games. Your staff moved the cornhole inside, we had our raffle inside, and that day turned into another great picnic only because of your quick thinking and your entire team’s “can do, will do, no problem” attitude and desire to please. You make it so easy! See you again this Year!

Wiegand’s Lake Park is one of the most convenient, pleasant, nature-filled places I have ever had the pleasure of hosting our company function at. I think THE most important thing that keeps us coming back is the staff. So kind, polite, helpful, happy & fun!! They are always on the go making sure we are taken care of, the park is constantly kept up really well, they make sure we have everything we need and if not, they go out of their way to make sure we have it. The various activities they offer, is also a plus. We have had the opportunity on multiple occasions to use the wide variety of outdoor activities such as paddleboats, tractor rides, which takes us throughout the grounds of Wiegand’s, swimming, horseshoes & cornhole & B-I-N-G-O in the pavilion. Another outdoor benefit is that they also provide play areas for kids, which consist of a jungle gym, swings & slides throughout the main area of the park. We also take advantage of their baseball field where we have games between our employees and our guests. No matter what, there is something for everyone to do. It also doesn’t hurt that we have NEVER had an issue with the food! It has always been fresh, well prepared, very tasty & always plenty of it! Wiegand’s has always been helpful in taking care our menu, which needs to accommodate some people with dietary needs. They also allow us to bring in various entertainers that we like to have for our guests, such as clowns, balloon artists, petting zoos, face painters & photo-booths. It’s good to know all of this is found in one place, which is why it’s an easy decision for our company to keep going back year after year!
